Untouched

The title 'untouched' refers to my aim of producing a heightened sense of embodiment is the interactant. I focused on the role which desire plays in our interactions with pornography and advertising, how we can experience desire or revulsion as a somatic sensation, without physically being touched.

Voyeuristic masturbation, for me, was the perfect merger between looking and wanting, between one's flesh and one's gaze. As you look at these mannequins, you are complicit in their act of looking and desiring.
